Find Ancestors

Hi there,
I'm trying to find some details on a Harry Sidney Wren born C1902 -place unknown.
Harry's parents were noted on his marriage record in Burntisland Fife 1927 as Henry Herbert Wren and Isabella Rebecca Whitehead.

I cannot find any birth for Harry in Scottish records and think that he may have come from England.

His usual residence at time of marriage in 1927 was noted as 39 Institute Road, Chatham (assuming Kent) .

Wondering if there is someone that may be able to help me verify his details (birth perhaps or Census) or even if there were siblings.

This family may have 2 different connections to my tree. One through Harry's wife Margaret Doig and the other through his mother Isabella Whitehead.

and once you find him, search for all Wren surname "living with" him in the same place.

Someone will probably come along and do all this for you unnecessarily; many of us don't like to spoil the fun of the hunt. ;)

edit -- I was referring mainly to the FreeBMD record, which was what I posted after ... which Eric sounded rather capable of. ;)

I did the 1911 because most people cannot manage to find all the inhabitants in 1911 through the free search. (and Whitehead siblings are not Wrens)

And lots of people cannot manage the free bmd search, either.

You folks are just too good!!! I have not had much "exposure" to doing English searching.....so your tips are a great help.

Was interesting to note the brother Howard Whitehead only aged 11 and a Carpenter and Joiner at that age ....
Quite a gap in the ages of the Whitehead siblings too ... Isabella 34, Mable 24 and Harold 11.

I doubt that Howard was actually 11 -- the 1911 image might need to be checked.

Good old FreeBMD again -- I searched for any Howard Whitehead birth in Kent 1880 to 1901; this is the only one:
