Can anyone help I am trying to find out about my grandfather Alfred who was married to Louisa McNicoll. I know his parents were Richard Whitehead and Lillie Etherington. I am unable to find out what happened to him after him and my grandmother split up.

Cannot help with what happenedafter the marriage, but found the fololowing on his parents etc.,. You may already have it but here goes.

Richard married Lillie. 1896.. April/June Qtr. reg in Middlesboro.

1901 census
Richard. 23. 1878 Butcher. Born Darlington
Lillie. 26. 1875. Born Darlington
Arthur R 4. 1897 Born Darlington
Louie (dau) 1 1900 Born Darlington.

1911 census
Lillie. WIDOW 35 1876 Grocer and Dealer.

Louie. 11
Alfred 9.

If you are looking for ancestry further back let me know and I will have a look for you.
Re Alfred. Did they have children?? Do you know when they seperated/divorced.
Can you ask anyone in the family or look at records in the library for registration lists that are taken every year, etc., Ethel.

Alfred and Louisa had three children Richard, Elizabeth and Lillie unfortunately my mother and grandmother have passed away so this is where I am stuck
