	James Lyle was born 5 May 1919 in Battersea, London. He was the son of James and Jane Lyle (neé Long). He seems to be a mystery. He was my later father's older brother but neither my father when he was alive every spoke of him. None of his siblings know anything. James was the eldest child. I have contacted the Child Migrant Trust to see if he did not get sent to Australia but he is not showing on any passenger lists. I would be interested to know if James Lyle got married (date, place and to who). There are loads on James Lyle's on the marriage indexes so it is hard to know which would be the right one. I have checked up to 2008 on the death indexes and the provisional one for 2009 but have not even located a death.

	Could he have died as a young child - perhaps this is why nobody spoke about him Liz
