Thank you all for that info. Is there any other Charlotte Deacon b 1806 around for that census? I'm struggling to identify the correct one.

KathleenBell Report 31 Jan 2010 15:39

The nearest others in the 1851 census is one born c. 1810 in Somerset and one born c. 1811 in Northamptonshire.

Where have you got your information about Charlotte from? How have you got back to her?

I think these findings are a different family. Benjamin did have a brother called Joseph, but he was in Liverpool, and his children had different names.
I now have a church record for Benjamin and Charlottes marriage.

Where was Benjamin James Deacon in 1841?
Where was Charlotte Deacon and her daughter Charlotte, or Maria, in 1851?

I have tried many variations of spelling, does anyone have any further ideas please?
