Genes Reunited is brought to you from the creators of FriendsReunited.

It was launched on 5th November 2002.

Our software will enable you to build your family tree, adding each of your relations one by one, creating a record of your family history as you go. You can add individual photos and notes for each relation.

Your family history cannot be seen by anyone else unless you authorise another member, through the site, to view your tree.

The names of your relations will be added to our database, so you will contributing to and helping to create one of the largest databases in the UK for genealogy.

At Genes Reunited we have also made available a feature that those who have already researched part of their family history can use. By uploading your Gedcom file you can instantly create your tree on our site.

You can search our database for family names to see if there are any other members who have already researched part of your family history. You can then link up other members' trees to your own.
